Nene District Scouts

In October 2006 Nene and Medehamstede Districts became the first Districts in the country to recieve Freedom of the City under the provision of the Local Government Act 1972 Section 249(5).

In April 2007 the city celebrated the centenary of Scouting and the Freedom of City at the St Georges Day event.
