Nene District Scouts

Sea Scouting is for Scouts and Explorer Scouts who practise a water ‘flavoured’ form of Scouting. They still run a programme that involves all the elements of a Balanced Programme in the main Award and Challenge badge work, but they plan a certain part of their programme around water Activities. There isn’t a Sea Scouting option for Cubs or Beavers, but Cubs and Beavers got plenty of opportunities to do water activities.

In Nene District we are lucky enough to have one Sea Scout group based in Stanground. The 3rd Nene has been a Sea Scout Group for nearly 30 years.
